Lankwitzer Dresses Up Shenzhen Metro Line No. 13

Lankwitzer provides environmental protection water-based coating for the entire vehicle of Shenzhen Metro Line No. 13. The first train has been successfully delivered on November 11, 2022 from CRRC Guangdong Rail Transit Vehicles Co., Ltd. 2022.11.15.1.jpg

The vehicles of Shenzhen Metro Line No. 13 were developed by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. and CRRC Guangdong participated in the R&D process. The vehicles will serve the first fully automatic driving innovative line of MTR in Shenzhen. 

In terms of the exterior of the entire vehicle for Shenzhen Metro Line No. 13, the film-forming effect is not only lustrous and full, moreover, the surface is as flat as water and as bright as a mirror. The water-based paint of Lankwitzer not only provides the mirror effect of the exterior of the vehicle, but also excels in mechanical performance, weathering resistance and aging resistance, and it is able to withstand various environmental influences encountered during the operation of the subway. 

The vehicle features a lightweight aluminum alloy body and customized exterior design: the body is dominated by the white color, with a U-shaped body drift through design and bright orange line color, making it vibrant and fashionable. The nose of the vehicle is clearly edged, with an overall flat design, and the black area of the nose echoes the side window area, providing a strong sense of integrity. In the interior of the vehicle, the driver's compartment and passenger compartment are designed in one piece through the interior. Lankwitzer has been cooperating with Shenzhen Metro since 2004, and its products have been applied to over the bodies, vehicle interiors and parts such as bogies of over 100 trains in Shenzhen Metro Phase I, Shenzhen Metro Line No. 2, Line No. 7, Line No. 9, Line No. 6, Line No. 10, etc. This first train of Line No. 13 has once again proved the strength of Lankwitzer's eco-friendly water-based paint! 2022.11.15.3.jpg
