Lankwitzer Helps to Open Two Lines of Shenzhen Metro

At 11:18 on August 18, 2020, Shenzhen Metro Line 6 and 10 were officially put into operation; after eight months, Shenzhen once again ushered in the opening of new subway lines. It was double happiness for the progress of Shenzhen Metro development.

Metro Line 10 is produced by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles, adopting stainless steel body,each train has 8 coaches six powered and two unpowered, maximum speed 80km/h, incorporating a number of “hardcore” technology of CRRC Changchun. Lankwitzer cooperates with CRRC Changchun and provides eco-friendly water-based paint for Shenzhen Metro Line 10.

Metro Line 6 is produced by CRRC Nanjing Puzhen, using a 6-car set with a maximum running speed of 100 km/h. The appearance adopts a quasi-streamline design, reflecting the “speed of Shenzhen and warmth of light”, which is beautiful and generous. With sincere cooperation with CRRC Nanjing Puzhen, Lankwitzer provided the whole train with eco-friendly water-based and ceramic paint for Metro Line 6, fulfilling functions of environmental protection and aesthetics at the same time. The paint inside the passenger compartment is anti-scratching and anti-graffiti, which significantly reduces the burden for vehicle maintenance.

The opening of Line 6 and Line 10 has connected various districts in Shenzhen to a greater extent, enabling a more convenient and fast daily life. Lankwitzer is contributing to Shenzhen’s “Eastward Strategy” and balanced development.
