At 10:28 a.m. on December 5, 2019 (the tenth day of the eleventh month of the year of the lunar calendar), the groundbreaking ceremony of Quanjiao Lankwitzer was held in Quanjiao Chuzhou, a place historically known as the “hinterland of Yangtze and Huai rivers, the thoroughfare of Wu (Jiangsu) and Chu (Hubei) states.

The ceremony also invited leaders from various authorities at the county level, including the party committee, people’s congress, cultural and tourism bureau, management committee of the economic development zone, bureau of commerce, natural resources, and planning bureau, housing, and construction bureau, emergency management bureau, ecological and environmental protection bureau, as well as leaders from Shizhi town and associated entrepreneurs.

The new factory will start construction at the end of this year, with a total investment of CNY230 millions (USD35millions). The factory covers an area of 11.5 acres and has a design capacity of 10,000 tons/year of high-performance eco-friendly industrial paint.

From the signing of the investment agreement in March 2018 to today’s groundbreaking ceremony, Lankwitzer has been receiving great support and assistance from various departments of the local government, which made it possible to start the project early. Today’s groundbreaking is a very historic moment for Lankwitzer.

In a peaceful atmosphere, everyone held the golden shovel together and laid the foundation with the soil.
