On June 10, 2021, the first train of the Israeli light rail transit (LRT) was unveiled on the eastern section of the Red Line main track in Tel Aviv.
The “5.21” main track joint commissioning was officially launched and the first test run was completed.
This marks the achievement of a major milestone for the Red Line project in Tel Aviv this year, laying the “stepping stone” for the opening of the project next year.

The completion of the first test run of the Tel Aviv Red Line LRV is another collaborative effort between CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. and Lankwitzer to bring the Chinese specialized high speed train to the world.
Lankwitzer added another feather to the cap for the glory of the country, a new page on the Record Book of the Rail Transit.
